On a few machines, the file system gets corrupted before I can even finish getting the user profile fully configured. What I don't understand is why there would be a file system corruption on a fresh install of Windows, that has never been shutdown un-cleanly. I get file system corruption on cloned drives, that does not surprise me. But the errors on the fresh installs, I just don't get.
It's happened on mechanical hard drives ranging from 2 - 6 yrs old, and on SSDs ranging from 2yrs old to brand new out of the package. Again, none of these machines had an un-clean shutdown prior to the app errors surfacing. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.
